Buddies

The Buddy Program is designed to provide support between junior and senior students by creating friendly and caring school communities. Our Buddy Program helps students entering their first year of primary school to feel safe, valued and connected to the school community. The school pairs new primary school students with an older buddy.

At St Clare’s our Year Fives are buddied with Preps to create a two year cycle where they our Preps meet their buddy in their first year and this friendship carries through in Year One where their buddy will be in Year Six.

Our Year Four students help with Prep transition to begin the Buddy Process prior to our students starting at St Clare’s.

Throughout the year, students meet at various times to share in activities to help foster this relationship.

Uniform

Wearing the St Clare’s uniform provides students with a sense of belonging and pride, while ensuring that they are dressed safely and appropriately for school activities. All students are required to wear the St Clare’s uniform, more information can be found in the Parent Handbook.

Camp Australia operates on site offering before and after school care to children enrolled at St Clare’s. Before school care operates from 6.45am and after school care operates until 6pm.

All parents are encouraged to enrol their children in After School Care. This allows students to be placed in After School Care in case of emergency or if a parent/carer is delayed.

Visit the Camp Australia website to register.

"I can highly recommend St Clare’s primary school, the teachers are so friendly and really care about all the children, the children are able to learn in great facilities with all the necessary resources. The principal Ben is extremely supportive and focuses on allowing the students to flourish and develop in a caring environment."

Nick, Parent

"I am proud to be here as a parent of six kids, three that are currently at this wonderful school. I want to thank you for the amazing support and education they receive.

The teachers and staff create a nurturing environment that helps children thrive academically and personally. My three older children, now in years seven, eight and nine at Thomas Carr College have built a strong foundation here for success.

Thank you to everyone for your dedication to our children's growth and happiness."
